Guildford Reserves Begin With Win

First match, first win for Giants Reserves

Guildford Giants played their first ever seconds fixture when they took two teams down to Southampton. The game was played as a 9-a-side curtain raiser in the London Merit league. Guildford's players had significantly more experience than their counterparts and it showed as they ran in 5 tries in the first 15 minute period. Southampton fought more strongly in the second two periods but Guildford stretched their lead to 40 points conceding only a single try.
